This is the home page for the Leeds Carnegie Men’s Division Two National League team.  The Men have made a historic rise through the Levels of the National League having been promoted each of the last two years.  Lead by head coach and director of basketball at Leeds Carnegie Matt Newby the Men are looking to once again be fighting for promotion this year.

Leeds Carnegie Basketball has grown by leaps and bounds over the past three years.  An emphasis was placed on establishing an elite basketball programme three years ago as Matt Newby (director of basketball at Leeds Carnegie) was hired to coach the Men’s Basketball team. 

Coming into the position Coach Newby ushered Leeds Carnegie into their first taste of National League Division Four play.  On the back of outstanding performances by all Leeds Carnegie charged through Division Four play not only being promoted to Division Three in their first season but also won the National Shield in their first attempt. The Men were able to replicate their success last year in Division Three.  Lead by Coach Newby and Carnegie scholar Matthew Morley Leeds Carnegie won the Division Three title.
