Head Coach - Benjamin Allen

27 years old and the head coach of the Leeds Carnegie Juniors girls U14’s national league team. He currently lives in Leeds and has been involved in basketball in and around the Yorkshire area from an early age. Both at the college and university level he has played and captained his side and currently plays for a local Leeds league team. His coaching career began with Global Hoops delivering quality coaching to both primary and high schools in curriculum time and with after school projects. He has a degree from Leeds University in Sport and exercise Science and Psychology.  2006-2007 season Ben coached the York U18’s National League team which enjoyed moderate success but more importantly he gained valuable experience which formed the basis of the Leeds Carnegie Juniors girl’s ethos, no 1 Person is bigger than the Team! We win as a Team and we lose as a Team! With this ideal at their core the Jr team hopes to grow and succeed. Ben wants everyone to know that he is truly excited to be a part of this TEAM!
